The vacuum tube is similar to a conventional Dewar flask, which consists of two borosilicate glass tubes, with perfect chemical and thermal shock resistance. The outside of the inner tube that is closed at one end and sealed at the other end of the outer tube, is coated with a sputtered solar selective layer. The annular space between the outer tube and inner tube is evacuated that virtually eliminates heat loss caused by conduction and convection.

Non-pressurized compact solar water heater is a kind of solar water heating system that solar collector and storage water tank are connected together, water tank on the top and collector panel on the bottom. tube. The selective coating on the inner tube converts solar energy into heat energy
and transfers to the heat pipe by an aluminum fin. The liquid in the heat pipe changes
into vapour which rises to the condenser. The heat conducts the water inside the
tank and the vapour becomes liquid, returning to the base of the heat pipe. This
continuous circulation transfers heat from the heat pipe to the cold water in the
tank as long as sun is heating the vacuum tube. Hot water can be obtained by injecting
cold water from the bottom of the tank
Thermosiphon solar water heater
Thermosiphon Solar Water Heater provides hot water through an efficient copper coil placed in the water tank as a heat exchanger which supplies more than 1.2m2 of heat transfer area. The vacuum tube absorbs the solar energy and heat the water in storage tank. When using the hot water, cold water flows into the water tank through a inlet, then the copper coil which has been pre-heated by hot water in tank, transfers the heat to the cold water in coil, so that the temperature rise up ceaseless. Based on the features of copper coil, the temperature of the water at the outlet is very close to the temperature of the water tank(≤3℃).
